Non-resident Inventory service
Hong Kong is one of the freest ports, thanks to the most flexible export and import regulations in the world. Export and import declaration must be done within 14 days after shipment.
However, a nonresident company in Hong Kong cannot be an exporter or importer because a Business Registration number (BR No.) is required for declaration. Only a company in Hong Kong can obtain a BR No. One more concern for a nonresident company might be license control issues. An export and import license is required for some electronic components and only a Hong Kong company can apply.
